cKenny Bear checked in!!!

Hey!
cKenny and I are doing great. We actually just got back from yet another trip. I met a wonderful guy in Venice when I was passing through in October and we stayed in touch while I was traveling around Italy. He met back up with me in Rome and we spent a few days together just exploring the city and enjoying Rome. When cKenny and I returned home I stayed in touch with 'wonderful guy'. We talked every day, weather it be on the phone, through email, instant messaging, texting, skype...we were always in touch. As fondness grew we decided that we really wanted to see each other again, so he bought me a flight out to London to see him. Of course I brought cKenny. =D

We spent a few days wandering through London...we got to see the Globe Theatre, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, the Palace and a million other fun spots. I was there for Thanksgiving, so instead of turkey I decided on fish & chips. I figured I needed to celebrate the London way.

Next we flew to Madrid for my 22nd birthday. To celebrate we went 'tapa hopping' which is to say that we went from tapa bar to tapa bar trying all the yummy tapas we could find. We also drank plenty of sangria and cerveza!!! [don't worry...I made sure cKenny didn't drink too much. =D] It was such an amazing way to spend my birthday. We spent a few days there and I really loved it. The thing I think was the most impressive was the culture and the food. It's a must visit for sure!

We flew to Paris after Madrid and spent almost a week! Oh je adore Paris!!!!!!!! It's so amazing, beautiful, and romantic. I was very happy to have someone special to share it with. We visited the Eiffel Tower during the day and then again at night. It was breathtaking. I can't wait to go back and see it again someday. We visited the Louvre twice and explored for what seemed like centuries. That place is MASSIVE! I enjoyed all the rich french food and wine, as well as a chance to try and learn a little French myself. It's a wonderful language. We did so much, I couldn't possibly tell you everything...but just know that we all had fun [cKenny included...I'm getting much better at remembering to take pictures of him places!] and that Paris is marvelous.

We finished the trip with a flight to Dublin and a few days of Irish fun. After visiting Dublin Castle, some beautiful churches, and wandering around downtown it was nice to settle down and drink a Guinness right at the source...the Guinness Factory. Most definitely the best Guinness I've ever had, and very close to being the best beer I've ever had. I would highly recommend stopping through if you're ever in Dublin...even the bars with this black heaven couldn't compete with the freshness of getting it straight from the factory. A solid night in Temple Bar [the bar district in downtown Dublin] and a visit with some of my Dublin friends [I met them in Munich, Germany at Oktoberfest this past fall] were the perfect end to a wonderful few weeks [back] in Europe.
I don't have anything planned for the near future yet, but I am hoping to get back to Africa sometime in the late winter/early spring. I'll be sure to update you on any of our travels, and I'll try to pass cKenny on to any of my friends who are traveling. I'm not ready to give him up forever, but I am trying to get him as much traveling in as possible!!!

I hope everything is good for you all...
<3
