unusual weather in Boise
Hi. This is Lil Bear. Our weather, today, in Boise, is CRAZY (at least for this time of year)!

I was up around 7:00 a.m., and noticed dark clouds over the hills.

around noon, though, it started hailing, REALLY hard! (look near the horizon in the
2nd pic)

now, the skies are blue!! (at least patches of it are)
MC was supposed to be snowboarding, td, with some of his friends, but i haven't heard from him. I hope everyone is okay!
Anyway, Happy trails!

I wonder... What Nora could be doing in Austrailia

Is she visiting the Austrailia Zoo?
Maybe Nora went to Waratah Park to see the Wildlife - Koala and Kangaroos
Whale watching? Or she went to the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb
The Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb is easier than it first appears as the gradient leading to the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge is not that steep. Negatives are the cost, the long period of preparation and 'training' before you go up.
Did she get a chance to visit the open air cinema? I wonder what that is ? Is it Like a drive in, without the cars?
I miss you, Nora. I wish you would let us know how you are!
Love, Cole

Graspr
I just found this new site called "graspr". It is really neat, because they have free how-to videos about practically anything!! I want to learn how to do everything. (Before I go to California, this week!)
We added a link to it, on the sidebar, too.

I can't believe...
you guys are leaving me, too!
cKenny is off to Oregon, for some white-water rafting, and Nora is going to Austrailia!!!
Austrailia-- can you believe that?! What if a kangaroo jumps on her?
I know you want to go, and hope you have loads of fun, but I will miss you both, so much!!!
And I just found out that Wendy is going to California, next week! See what you started, BOS?
Lil & Amy won't leave me, though-- they are good girls.

I want to help people
I don't want to travel around the world! I would rather find people to help-- right in my own community! Since I like books, so much, maybe I will become a volunteer for the "Homebound Library Services", at the Boise Library.
Amy.
P.S. I miss you , Bos. I so wish you would let everyone know how you are doing!

Mississippi salesman
A young man from Mississippi moves to Florida and goes to a big "everything under one roof" department store looking for a job.
The manager asks, "Do you have any sales experience?"
"Well, yeah, I 've done a litte sales work, back in Mississippi."
Well, the boss liked the kid and gave him a job. "You start tomorrow, I'll come down after we close to see how you did"
His first day on the job was rough, but he got through it.
After the store was locked up, the boss came down. "How many customers bought from you today?"
The kid replies, "One"
The Boss says, "Just one? Our sales people average 20 to 30 customers a day. How much was the sale for?"
The kid says "$101,237.65."
The Boss is blown away. "$101,237.63? What the heck did you sell him?"
The kid says "First I sold him a small fish hook, then I sold him a medium fish hook Then I sold him a large fish hook. Then I sold him a new fishing rod. Then I asked him where he was going fishing and he said down the coast, so I told him he was going to need a boat, so we went down the boat dept. and I sold him a twin engine Chriss Craft. Then he realized that his Honda Civic wouldn't pull it, so I sold him that 4x4 Expedition."
The Boss said "A guy come in to buy a fish hook and you sold him a BOAT and a TRUCK?'
"Heck, no!" The kid exclaimed. "He came in to buy tampons for his wife, and I said...."DUDE!-your weekend’s shot---you should go fishing!....."
Have a Great Day.......... PT

Do GOOD to your enemies?!?!
I heard "Lo"-- who hates me-- is coming to town, so I've been thinking a lot about about how each of us should treat our enemies.
The Apostle Paul had thought about this, too, and this is what he wrote:
"12 Rejoice in the hope. Endure under tribulation. Persevere in prayer. 14 Keep on blessing those who persecute; be blessing and do not be cursing. 17 Return evil for evil to no one. Provide fine things in the sight of all men. 18 If possible, as far as it depends upon you, be peaceable with all men. 19 Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath; for it is written: "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says Jehovah." 20 But, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by doing this you will heap fiery coals upon his head." 21 Do not let yourself be conquered by the evil, but keep conquering the evil with the good." (Romans 12:12, 14, 17-21)
Of course, these thoughts didn't originate with Paul, but were based on the teachings and example of Jesus.
I just have to keep reminding myself of this, because "returning evil for evil to no one" is very hard! Even harder: to try to do good to those who hate you!! I must try, though. Oh, Lord, please give me strength!!
